GOAT Bridge User Guide

Standard Bridge Flow

GOAT Bridge main interface

Open the Bridge tab

The default view is Bridge.

Select the network and asset

Choose the source network and the asset you want to move.

Connect the sending and receiving wallets

You can use the default receiving wallet or provide a custom compatible address.

Enter the amount

Make sure the amount is above the minimum threshold for the selected route.

Review the transfer details

Verify the source chain, destination chain, amount, gas fee, bridge fee, and target address.

Confirm the transfer

Click Transfer, approve the transaction in your wallet, and pay the required gas fee.

Track the progress

Use Transaction History or your linked Telegram notifications to follow the transfer status.

Confirm arrival

Once the bridge completes, check the receiving wallet on GOAT Network for the bridged balance.

Receive BTC on GOAT Network

The Receive tab is designed for users who already hold BTC in an exchange or Bitcoin wallet and want to bridge directly into GOAT Network.

GOAT Bridge receive flow

The receive flow currently supports BTC from Bitcoin mainnet only. Send at least 0.0002 BTC to avoid the transfer being treated as dust.

Open the Receive tab

Connect your EVM wallet or enter a custom EVM address to generate the bridge-in address.

Withdraw BTC on Bitcoin mainnet

In the exchange withdrawal flow, choose BTC on Bitcoin mainnet and paste the generated bridge-in address as the destination.

Account for exchange fees

Make sure the final received amount remains above the minimum bridge threshold after the exchange withdrawal fee.

Refresh and verify

Refresh the page or check the history view once the exchange confirms the withdrawal.

Generate the bridge-in address

Connect your EVM wallet or provide a custom GOAT Network destination address.

Send BTC on Bitcoin mainnet

Use a Bitcoin wallet that supports Bitcoin mainnet and make sure you are sending BTC, not a wrapped variant.

Adjust the fee rate if needed

If the transaction remains unconfirmed, raise the Bitcoin network fee rate in your wallet.

Check the GOAT Network history view

Once the transaction confirms, the bridged assets should appear in your GOAT Network receiving wallet.

Switch Assets or Networks

  1. Click the network or asset selector in the bridge panel.
  2. Pick the route you want to use from the selector modal.

Open the asset and network switcher

Choose a different bridge route
